New Themers

I do actually not with anyone in particular but it really seems not many want to support us new guys all people care about is you name

That's the way it is bro. I'm in the same boat you are. Just be patient, crank out some kick ass themes and it will come

I feel ya bro honestly it's prolly hard to keep up with so many themes and threads so people just tend to gravitate toward the big names.......my advice is to get out to those threads and do some modding build some bridges make relationships around mmi and the icommunity then drop your theme that's what I would do!!

You really seem the type but some say they do (no names but you can guess a few) and in reality don't but will continuously talk about their stuff and might thank you for your support once in 10 yrs lol... I really try hard tI help and support everyone, even the ones that wouldn't do it for me...

I have been doing that actually the only issue is some of the "friends" I've made won't even drop in just to say one word or RT anything. in the meantime I'm helping these guys out while their theme is in WIP, or showing my support on all forums/social networks, modding walls or whatever I have time for, and showing these nice themes and stuff to ALL my friends selflessly cause I never really expected anything back however sometimes the burn comes on, lately it's been a bit of a fire but I'm still going to do what I do it's who I am... I'm not really griping BUT everyone needs to vent lol

What I can't stand @ MMI is the idol worship. Yea, I'm not a theme creator, but WTF ? Some members on there just flat out worship certain themers. Makes me wonder sometimes

That drives me crazy too especially when those guys act as friend and then do nothing to help get you seen

hhhmmm I have some input on this subject as a new themer lol. Me and another member here(Bogmat) set out for an out of the box idea for a theme and we were in the same exact spot as you Sep. The people who offered to help and said they would support us did nothing whatsoever lol BUT Hosko and iZang came out of nowhere and got word out and iZang cranked out like 10 mods in the span of a couple of weeks. Major respect to you both for ACTUALLY helping new themers. It's sad but I only comment on MMI if I recognize a face for a specific topic, otherwise I just download mods and hit thanks quietly lol
